Everyone knows that I’m a very blunt and straightforward individual, I’ll will not sugarcoat my words & thoughts to please anyone. This post is intended to iron out a few issues that some people need to desist from doing in 2015. As Tifa puts it, I’m going to S-P-E-L-L it out! Should you be offended by anything posted here, it simply indicates you’re guilty and you probably should think about cleaning up your acts. So here goes:
1. Professionals: There are some things that aren’t expected from professionals. The fact that you enter the world of work/professional sphere means that persons have high expectations of you and eyes will be upon you. So while you may engage in homosexual behaviors or freaky orgies, these things shouldn’t be stored in your phone. Cell-phones can get lost or stolen and pictures of this nature, can be used to blackmail you and tarnish your reputation for life. Case in point – the principal at Christiana High. Be ye careful…..
2. Pregnant Women: You’re on the verge of becoming a mother, stop kotch up at every pan weh knock & bleach inna nite kowl. Also, unu need fi stop show off baby belly inna di SKAAN media picture dem, its not a good look! While nothing is wrong with going out and enjoying yourself during your pregnancy, you need to be selective of where you’re ‘bringing’ your child. You may be an avid party fan but the moment you get pregnant, you need to give the nightlife & party scene a break until after birth. Is this is kind of lifestyle you want the child to adopt?
3. Infidelity: These days with the rise in homosexuals, prostitutes and self-proclaimed ‘galist’ a good spouse is hard to find so when you happen to find that virtuous one, he/she should be treated with RESPECT. Yes, good men and women do exist. Some of unu have a style weh if unu nah keep more than one man/woman, unu nuh feel satisfied……unu need fi stop it! Some of you are blessed with a good man/woman yet unu nuh stop guh road an’ pick up all kinda likkle dun out, leftover scraps! Wha di hell wrong wid unu soh? Stop dash unu self all bout….
4. Facebook Hype: While nothing is wrong with indicating your relationship status and posting pics of you and your significant other on Facebook, somethings just aren’t appropriate for the public domain. Why do you feel it necessary to share certain aspects of your relationship with the world? Whatever happened to PRIVACY? Don’t you know a particular person doesn’t need to be your friend to see your photos? The fact that its posted on the internet, means its exposed to ‘all & sundry’. Many of you have quick fingers but we need to be very careful of what is shared with the world. Desist from sharing the lingerie, hotel & shower pics, those are for you & your spouse; the public doesn’t need to see them.
5. The Dependent Females: A man’s money shouldn’t be your source of income but rather an added feature to the relationship. Its 2015, time for you to either find a job or create one for yourself (use his money as a starter) and stop live off the man pocket like seh is a money tree. It takes nothing for a man to leave a woman these days and when he goes, sweetheart, the money goes too and your star will stop shining immediately.
6. Whatsapp Stalker: Apparently Whatsapp has a new feature that allows the sender to see if the message was received and when it was read. However, this is no excuse for you to antagonize the receiving party for not responding immediately. Some of you men and women stalking others need to recognize that people have a life outside social media so we don’t live on our phones 24/7. We either have a family, have a 9-5 job, go to school or participate in extra-curricula activities so sometimes we’re not readily available to engage in a convo via Whatsapp. Chill for Christ sake, we’ll respond when we can.
7. Jim Screechie: Yuh have waan set of woman now, weh every man dem have, dem haffi hide dem. Who wants a man that has to be hidden from your friends and family? He can’t pick you up at your gate, you’ve to be arranging meeting spots. The fact that you’ve to be hiding him is a clear sign that you shouldn’t be in the relationship. Its 2015, stop the Jim Screechie business!
That’s all for now…..To Be Continued
